St. Philip Lutheran Church is a congregation in Trenton, Michigan dedicated to living with and for Christ every day. St. Philip is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in American of the Southeast Michigan Synod. Pastor Robert Carr currently serving.
The founding members of St. Philip began worshiping together in September, 1959 and officially became a church in March, 1960. For over 50 years, St. Philip has served Trenton and the Downriver community.
Our mission is to share the grace, love and faith of Jesus Christ as taught to us by the Word, demonstrating tolerance, patience, love and, above all else, compassion for our fellow children in Christ. Please join us for worship service every Sunday and by being a volunteer for God's mission on earth by providing for our community and our neighbors through one of our many community service programs or ministries.
Whether you are looking for a place of welcoming forgiveness, a judgment-free place to find where you fit into God's plan, or simply need the spiritual guidance and fellowship of an accepting and welcoming family in Christ, come to St. Philip and see for yourself how Christ renews life and strengthens faith through scripture, deeds and sharing.
